Armed Security Officer

Overview Part Time Armed Position:

4:30pm - 9:00pm Start with these hrs and blend into the team schedule Join our dynamic security team as an Armed Security Officer, where your vigilance and dedication will play a vital role in safeguarding property, assets, and people. As an Armed Security Officer, you will be the frontline defender, ensuring safety through proactive monitoring, quick response to incidents, and maintaining a secure environment for all stakeholders. Responsibilities Monitor premises using CCTV systems and perform regular surveillance patrols to detect suspicious activity or security breaches Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, or alarms, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed Conduct thorough inspections of personnel, vehicles, and packages to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access Enforce security protocols by verifying identification and access permissions for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors Manage conflict situations with professionalism and tact, de-escalating issues while maintaining safety for all parties involved Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records accurately and promptly Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying vulnerabilities and implementing preventative measures Requirements Valid armed security license or certification as required by local/state regulations Experience in Security, Police, Military with a focus on safety and protection Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and familiarity with loss prevention Certifications in first aid and CPR to respond effectively during medical emergencies Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure Experience with law enforcement procedures or military training is highly desirable Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and the public Join us in creating a secure environment where safety is our top priority!
