Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Clinical Support Patrol in Brandon, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Hospital Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will remain visible to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, support hospital operations, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Hour Job Schedule:
This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward, your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring, onboarding, and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.
What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Monitor access points and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel. Complete accurate activity reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
Must meet hospital vaccination requirements. Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue. Must be able to restrain individuals. Must have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
