Job Description
Securitas is hiring an Overnight Security Officer to protect people, property, and assets during night shifts. In this role, you will patrol facilities, monitor access control and CCTV systems, respond to alarms and incidents, and complete detailed activity reports. You will enforce client policies with professionalism and courtesy while maintaining a strong safety and customer-service focus. Responsibilities Conduct scheduled and random interior and exterior patrols during overnight shifts Monitor access control systems, CCTV, and alarms to detect suspicious activity Enforce client policies, site rules, and safety procedures professionally Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms, escalating when needed Complete clear, accurate incident and daily activity reports Provide visible security presence and excellent customer service to clients and visitors Coordinate with supervisors, law enforcement, or emergency services as directed Maintain high standards of integrity, appearance, and professionalism on post Required Skills Access control procedures CCTV monitoring Incident reporting and documentation Patrol techniques (interior and exterior) Alarm response and basic investigation Radio and communication systems Report writing and log maintenance Basic de-escalation and conflict management Customer service in security settings Basic computer literacy for security systems
