Job Description
Overview Join Lakeside Condominium Apts of Deltona's staff as a member of its Prevention Patrol. Lakeside Condominiums is at the base of Providence Blvd where it ends at Lake Monroe. Lakeside has 60 buildings, four courts, 240 condos a resort type swimming pool and tennis and pickle ball courts. The prevention patrol night shift uses a security golf cart with flashing yellow light to make rounds of our four courts and pool area to identify and place warnings on vehicles illegally parked, to locate and report building and street lights that are out, to document and report to 911 and the Association any suspicious activity or incidents requiring police response or later Association action. Prevention Patrol members may not take direct action to enforce Association Rules and Regulations or to intervene to stop suspicious or unlawful activity. A patrol member's role is to document and report to the Association and\or 911 activity requiring police or Association response and\or followup.. Currently Lakeside is hiring to fill only one vacant patrol shift. That shift works from 10PM to 2 AM Thursday, Friday and Saturday. There are other day and night shifts that are currently staffed. For Patrol Members who are interested in increasing their earnings the Association allows with their approval one patrol member covering for another patrol member who is temporarily unable to cover all or a portion of his or her s9ift due to illness or other justifiable reason. Covering another members shift is not a job requirement. Because the Prevention Patrol has only part time positions, its members are not eligible beyond their hourly pay for other work related benefits with the exception of workers compensation benefits. To qualify applicants must be willing to undergo a background check and be willing to start work within one week. Applicants that provide resumes have a better chance of success in being hired.
