Overnight Roving Vehicle Patrol Officer Schedule:
4 days workweek Overnight, 7:30 PM - 5:00 AM Expected weekly hours: 35-40Pay:
Starting at $17.50 per hour Eligible for performance-based increases following 90-day probationary period. Position Summary Signal of Fort Myers and Naples is seeking dependable, detail-oriented Overnight Vehicle Patrol Officers to conduct mobile patrols across assigned properties. This role requires strong situation awareness, consistent adherence to instructions, accurate reporting, and the ability to work independently during overnight hours. This position is ideal for candidates who value structure, accountability, and clear expectations. Key Responsibilities Conduct scheduled vehicle patrols following site-specific post orders and route instructions. Ensure properties are secure by checking access points, common areas, and designated locations. Write clear, accurate, and timely reports using company technology during each site patrol. Communicate promptly with supervisors regarding incidents, concerns, or deviations. Maintain assigned patrol vehicle (fueling, cleanliness, basic inspection). Properly care for all issued equipment (phone, keys, access cards, uniform, devices). Arrive on time, follow shift schedules, and meet attendance expectations consistently. Interact professionally with clients and residents to provide peace of mind. De-escalate situations calmly and report issues according to protocol. Follow company appearance standards, policies, and procedures at all times. Required Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older High school diploma or GED Valid Florida Class D Security License (required) Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Reliable transporation Ability to pass background check and drug screening Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to follow written instructions and post orders consistently Ability to lift up to 20 pounds Ability to work overnight shifts independently Reliable overnight availability and adherence to assigned schedules.
