This energetic position requires proactive vigilance, quick decision-making, and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment. As a Security Officer, you will be the first line of defense, ensuring that safety protocols are followed and that any incidents are managed efficiently. Duties Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent unauthorized access, theft, and vandalism Verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and employees before granting access to premises Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed Manage conflict situations with professionalism and tact, de-escalating potential threats effectively Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for reporting purposes Requirements Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service is highly desirable Certification in first aid and CPR is a plus Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and loss prevention techniques Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure Familiarity with security procedures, emergency response protocols, and law enforcement collaboration Ability to stand for extended periods while maintaining alertness throughout shifts Good communication skills to interact professionally with team staff and the public This role offers an engaging opportunity for motivated individuals committed to protecting people and property.
