As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will patrol commercial real estate locations by vehicle, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations with professionalism. AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, property damage, or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel. Maintain required armed-post qualifications and follow applicable laws, company policies, and site procedures regarding assigned equipment and incident documentation.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess an armed guard card or license. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred. Possess a state, county, or city-issued security-related license, preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
