Resort Unarmed Security Officer

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Resort Unarmed Security Officer, where your vigilance and dedication will ensure a safe and welcoming environment for guests, staff, and visitors. In this energized role, you will be responsible for maintaining security protocols, monitoring premises through surveillance systems, and providing exceptional service to uphold the resort's reputation for safety and hospitality. Your proactive approach will help prevent loss, manage conflicts, and respond effectively to emergencies, all while promoting a positive guest experience. Duties Monitor resort grounds, entrances, and common areas, and detect suspicious activity or safety hazards. Conduct regular patrols on foot and via golf cart to ensure the safety of guests, staff, and property. Verify the identity of visitors and contractors, controlling access to restricted areas in accordance with security procedures. Respond promptly to incidents or disturbances, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations peacefully. Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting any suspicious activity immediately. Complete detailed incident reports and shift logs accurately, documenting all relevant security activities and incidents. Requirements Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable. Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems and conducting visual inspections. Excellent conflict management abilities with a calm demeanor under pressure. Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and security best practices. Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods comfortably across outdoor and indoor environments. Pay:

$16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Polo shirts run a little bigger. Do you own a pair of black cargo-style pants, jeans, or slacks and black boots or sneakers? It will be required to conduct periodic patrols while scanning checkpoints throughout the entire shift. Do you have an objection to this policy? The site will be from 4:00 pm to 12:00 am and from 12:00 am to 8:00 am. Full-time is 32 to 40 hours, and part-time is 16 to 24 hours. What is your availability? Do you have open availability?
