AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to guest concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hotel and resort facilities, guest areas, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and observe site activity, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures. Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. A Guard Card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
