Job Description As a Security Officer Front Desk Access Coordinator in Lake Mary, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors at a front desk location within a technology, media, and telecommunications environment by following site-specific procedures and access protocols. Monitor entry activity, verify visitor credentials, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor records in accordance with site policies. Answer and route incoming calls, provide directions and general assistance, and communicate professionally with building occupants and authorized personnel. Observe front desk and lobby activity, report unusual conditions or policy concerns, and help to deter unauthorized access through courteous access-control practices. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
Access control and badge experience is preferred. Possession of a guard card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
