As a Security Officer Experienced Unarmed Driver in Fort Lauderdale, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a government transportation administration location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access to the facility, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain required logs and reports. Document incidents, unusual occurrences, and patrol findings accurately and promptly according to Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess at least two years of security-related experience. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
