Sanford & Merritt Island Sites Redd Alert Protective Services LLC Pay:

$19.00 per hour

Florida Class D & G Security Licenses Redd Alert Protective Services LLC is currently hiring a reliable and professional Armed Security Floater Guard to provide coverage for two active armed security sites located in Sanford, FL and Merritt Island, FL . This position is ideal for an experienced armed guard who has flexible availability and is able to cover open shifts as needed at either location.

Schedule / Availability

Needed The selected officer must have availability to cover shifts during the following time windows:

Merritt Island Post:

Monday-Friday between 6:30 AM - 4:00

PM Sanford College Post:

Open shift coverage between 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM Schedule may vary depending on site coverage needs, call-outs, vacations, emergencies, or open post assignments. Pay $19.00 per hour Responsibilities Maintain a professional armed security presence on-site Follow all post orders and client-specific procedures Conduct foot and/or vehicle patrols as assigned Monitor assigned areas for suspicious activity, safety concerns, and policy violations Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident reports Communicate professionally with site management, staff, visitors, and Redd Alert management Respond appropriately to emergencies, incidents, or unusual activity Arrive on time and remain dependable for scheduled coverage Requirements Must have an active Florida Class D Security License Must have an active Florida Class G Armed Security License Must have reliable transportation Must be willing and able to travel to both Sanford and Merritt Island when needed Must be punctual, dependable, and professional Must be able to stand, walk, patrol, and remain alert during assigned shifts Must be able to follow written post orders and company procedures Prior armed security, law enforcement, military, or patrol experience preferred Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is flexible, responsible, and understands the importance of covering posts when needed. We are looking for someone who takes attendance seriously, communicates clearly, and can represent Redd Alert Protective Services LLC with professionalism at both client locations.
