Pay Rate:
$21.00 /Hour Job Schedule:
Day Time Thur11:00 PM- 07:00
AM How This Role Works:
- Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:
In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to personnel, drivers, and visitors at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor and control access points, verify credentials and delivery appointments, and maintain visitor, driver, and vehicle entry records in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access areas, loading zones, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Document daily activities, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information during shift changes.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
