This role is vital in protecting personnel, property, and assets through proactive surveillance, conflict management, and emergency response. As a Security Officer, you will serve as the first line of defense, ensuring a secure environment while demonstrating professionalism and integrity at all times. Your energetic approach and commitment to safety will contribute to a safe, welcoming atmosphere for everyone on site. Responsibilities Monitor and patrol designated areas using CCTV systems and physical presence to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity. Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors, ensuring only authorized individuals enter the premises. Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, including conflicts or security breaches, applying conflict management techniques effectively. Conduct thorough inspections of personnel and property to prevent theft, loss prevention, or damage. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary, providing detailed reports and support during investigations. Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and security logs with attention to detail. Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to monitor activity continuously and identify potential threats proactively. Experience Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service or related fields demonstrating strong situational awareness. Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV), loss prevention strategies, and conflict management techniques. Certifications in first aid and CPR are highly desirable to respond effectively during medical emergencies. Familiarity with security procedures including access control, incident reporting, and emergency response protocols.
