PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, campus policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate campus contacts and emergency responders as directed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns. Monitor access points and verify credentials as required; assist with visitor direction, campus information, and adherence to site access procedures. Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents, patrol activities, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least two years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience. Possess at least two years of security-related experience. Possess an armed guard card or license. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
