In this role, you will monitor premises, enforce safety protocols, and respond promptly to incidents, ensuring a secure atmosphere at all times. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will be vital in deterring unauthorized access and preventing loss, while providing excellent service to everyone on-site. Duties Conduct regular patrols of the facility to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards Verify the identity of visitors and contractors, ensuring proper authorization before granting access Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to oversee the premises continuously Respond swiftly and effectively to security incidents or emergencies, including medical situations requiring first aid or CPR Enforce security policies and procedures while maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor Document all security activities, incidents, and observations accurately in shift reports Assist with loss prevention efforts by observing and reporting potential theft or vandalism Requirements Proven ability to remain alert and vigilant during long shifts in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV) and basic security protocols Certification or training in first aid, CPR, and conflict management is highly desirable Experience in law enforcement, military service, or security roles is a plus Strong communication skills with the ability to handle conflict calmly and professionally Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and security equipment Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed Join us in creating a safe environment where everyone feels protected!
