Security Officer Front Desk Minimum Requirements:
Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Experienced using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location. Monitor visitor access, verify identification and credentials, and direct employees, contractors, and guests in accordance with front desk protocols for an aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and emergency personnel when needed. Maintain front desk logs, visitor records, and other required documentation, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns through proper channels. Answer phones, assist with inquiries, and support access control functions in a professional manner while helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or disruptions at the location.
