Security Officer Lobby Desk Minimum Requirements:
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Access control and badge experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Ability to regularly lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out site-specific policies, front desk procedures, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location. Monitor front desk activity and access points, verify identification and credentials, and help to deter unauthorized entry in accordance with location protocols. Receive and direct visitors, manage sign-in records, issue visitor credentials, and communicate clearly with personnel regarding arrivals, deliveries, and/or access requests. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related events according to post instructions. Support a professional front desk presence within an aerospace and defense location by answering questions, reporting concerns, and following established communication and escalation procedures.
