Job Description As a Security Officer Hospital Deescalation Patrol in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to site needs. PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or unauthorized access.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established healthcare location protocols.

Monitor access points and help support visitor management procedures, directing individuals to appropriate departments or entrances as needed.

Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

Meet hospital vaccination requirements.

Possess at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, at least 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or at least 3 years of security-related experience.

Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
