AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and activity within assigned areas, assisting with visitor direction, credential checks, and/or other site-specific protocols. Document incidents, daily activities, and policy-related concerns in a clear and timely manner, following post orders and healthcare location guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Meet hospital vaccination requirements. Be willing to work in and/or around a hospital morgue. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client. Be at least 21 years of age. Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare/medical-related field. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
