As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol Response in Plant City, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, assisting with access-related procedures and directing visitors in a professional manner. Support healthcare staff during routine and urgent situations by following post orders, reporting concerns, and maintaining a visible presence in assigned areas.
Minimum Requirements:
Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Meet hospital vaccine requirements. Be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED. Be at least 21 years of age. Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting. Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
