PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general questions, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or policy concerns according to site guidelines. Support a professional environment by observing patient-sensitive areas, helping to de-escalate conflicts when appropriate, and reporting maintenance, access control, and/or life-related system issues to the proper personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Must be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements. Must be able to work in a hospital morgue environment. Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED. Be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
