Job Description

Tuckers Cove Town Center, located in Punta Gorda, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for Security Staff! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you'll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Pay Rate:
$24.00 per hour, Part-time and Full-time positions available.
General Purpose:
Ensures safety and security of members and employees of facility.
Essential Duties:
Observes persons entering, exiting, or loitering in or around facilities and responds to security related complaints from residents, members, guests, and employees. Conducts routine walk-arounds of the property at scheduled and random times. Ensures that doors are locked and property is secure. Responds to accidents, thefts, property loss, and unlawful activities. Documents details and advises management. Maintains logs and reports of all related activities. Provides security coverage for special events programs. Enforces all rules and regulations set forth by facility. Identifies and corrects any safety hazards. Performs light maintenance duties including but not limited to: changing locks and light bulbs. Regular and reliable attendance. Performs other duties as required.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands:
Regularly stands, walks, talks and hears. Regularly uses hands. Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches, pushes, pulls, reaches with arms and hands. Regularly lifts up to 50 pounds.
Environment/Noise:
Regularly works in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate.
Certificates/Licenses:
Driver's License, CPR and First Aid Training.

Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
