The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role involves monitoring premises, enforcing rules and regulations, and responding to incidents as they arise. The Security Officer will play a crucial role in loss prevention and ensuring the safety of all individuals on site. Responsibilities Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing assistance as needed. Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to ensure the safety of the premises. Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor. Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any security breaches encountered. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to address security concerns. Provide first aid and CPR assistance in emergency situations as required. Engage in conflict management to de-escalate situations effectively. Skills Proficient in surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies. Knowledge of first aid and CPR practices; certification preferred. Experience in law enforcement or military service is a plus. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security technologies. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
