As a Lead Cybersecurity Architect at JPMorgan Chase within Cybersecurity Technology & Controls, you are an integral part of a team that works to develop high-quality cybersecurity solutions for various payment needs. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for payment rails and networks across high value, low value and real-time payments, you are an integral part of a team that works to develop high-quality cybersecurity solutions for various software applications and platform products. Drive significant business impact through your capabilities and contributions, and apply deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to tackle a diverse array of cybersecurity challenges that span multiple technology domains. Job responsibilities Engages technical teams and business stakeholders to discuss and propose technical approaches to meet current and future cybersecurity needs Guides the evaluation of current cybersecurity principals, processes, and controls, and leads the evaluation of new technology using existing standards and frameworks Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors Development of cybersecurity risk analysis capabilities leveraging modern development practices to improve visualization and communication of risk to stakeholders Partner with Technology and Business teams to effectively model threats and mitigate risk across your coverage area Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle Govern coverage area using qualitative and quantitative risk measurements Leverages enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate cybersecurity architecture analysis and decisioning (e.g., risk identification and documentation), validating outputs and handling data according to sensitivity and security requirements. Influences peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologies Drives reuse-first adoption of AI-assisted security validation within SDLC/toolchain routines, improving control testing and remediation quality with traceability/auditability and resiliency expectations. Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Obtain 5+ years of cybersecurity experience in complex environments Hands-on experience developing risk visualization capabilities and practical cloud native experience Hands-on practical experience delivering enterprise level cybersecurity solutions and controls Strong advisory skills with proven experience in ensuring organizations implement secure solutions throughout their lifecycle Hands-on practical experience delivering enterprise-level cybersecurity solutions and controls Knowledge of cybersecurity architecture, applications, and technical processes with considerable, in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., public cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.) Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support cybersecurity architecture workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity. Ability to assess and validate AI-assisted security recommendations before adoption, escalating uncertainty and ensuring outcomes align to security, resiliency, and auditability expectations. Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to select or recommend the best solutions for the future state architecture Understanding of the external threat landscape, threat actors, adversary tactics & techniques, and industry trends Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Experience with Payments environments including key business processes and technology trends CISSP, CASP+ or equivalent certification #
