Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Roving Patrol Driver in Tampa, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer supporting a dynamic retail and mall location. You will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist visitors and tenants with exceptional customer service, and communicate observations clearly. PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random patrols of mall common areas, retail corridors, parking areas, exterior walkways, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures. Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report suspicious conditions, property concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel. Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain professional communication with site management, law enforcement, emergency responders, and the public as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
