PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with supervisors, site personnel, and/or public agency representatives as needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and report unusual behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues that could affect daily operations. Maintain readiness for an armed post by handling assigned equipment in accordance with post orders, company standards, and applicable laws while supporting a professional presence at the location.
Minimum Requirements:
Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience. Possess an armed guard card or license. Be at least 21 years of age. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
