PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government law enforcement location. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate law enforcement personnel and follow established reporting procedures. Monitor access points and observe the movement of vehicles and individuals entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders. Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and maintain professional communication with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree. Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent. Possess an armed guard card or license. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
