Armed Security Officer

Duties Conduct regular patrols of the premises using CCTV surveillance systems and physical inspections to deter unauthorized access and identify potential threats. Authorize access for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors, verifying identification and documentation as needed. Respond swiftly to incidents or alarms, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations effectively. Provide first aid and CPR when necessary, ensuring immediate care until emergency services arrive. Monitor security cameras (CCTV) to oversee activity across the facility and detect suspicious behavior or security breaches. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies, providing detailed reports of incidents. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incident reports, shift handovers, and security records for accountability and compliance purposes. Qualifications Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields with a focus on armed security operations. Valid certification in first aid and CPR from recognized organizations. Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems and other security technology. Knowledge of conflict management techniques and de-escalation strategies. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally while maintaining a high level of alertness. Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and the public. Physical fitness to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods; ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.
