DWM Security Specialist II (OSSEM) City of Atlanta, GA - 3.6 Atlanta, GA Job Details Full-time $44,286 - $59,204 a year 4 hours ago Qualifications Customer service Driver's License Productivity software Technical Proficiency Full Job Description Posting expires: September 9, 2026 Salary range: $44,286 - $59,204 General Description and Classification Standards The Security Specialist, Sr., under the supervision of the Security Supervisor, is responsible for conducting consistent and well-documented daily security roving patrols, performing facility physical security inspections, enforcing ID badge policies and delivering security briefings. The Watershed Security Specialist, Sr. helps maintain a safe and secure work environment, serving as both a deterrent to intruders or theft and an assurance of accountability. This position may also require issuing identification badges to all employees within an assigned department, in accordance with established policies and procedures. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Deactivating and recovering ID badges from terminated employees or contractors
- Maintaining accurate accounting and secure storage of ID badges at all times
- Assisting with the semi-annual audit of ID badges
- Performing routine to complex clerical and administrative tasks in the ID badge office
- Processing requests for tours or visits to secure areas.
