Armed Security Officer

Responsibilities Monitor premises continuously using CCTV systems and other surveillance tools to detect suspicious activity or security breaches. Conduct thorough patrols of the property to ensure safety, identify potential hazards, and prevent theft or vandalism. Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents or emergencies, including medical situations requiring CPR or first aid. Enforce access control procedures by verifying identities of visitors, contractors, and employees; manage entry points confidently and professionally. Manage conflict situations with calmness and professionalism, de-escalating disputes and ensuring safety for all parties involved. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies, providing detailed reports and support as needed. Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incident reports, CCTV footage logs, and security checks to ensure compliance and accountability. Experience Prior experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly preferred. Certification in first aid and CPR is advantageous; ongoing training in conflict management and surveillance techniques is a plus. Familiarity with CCTV systems, loss prevention strategies, and security protocols enhances effectiveness in this role. Demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations calmly while making quick decisions is essential. Knowledge of legal regulations related to security operations and the use of force ensures responsible conduct on duty.
