In this pivotal role, you will oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced electronic security systems, including alarm systems, access control, CCTV surveillance, sensors, and fire alarm systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in low-voltage electrical systems, computer hardware, and network configurations, combined with excellent customer service skills. This position offers an opportunity to lead technical projects, support system design efforts, and deliver exceptional service to clients across diverse industries. Your expertise will ensure the integrity and reliability of security infrastructure while fostering safety and peace of mind for our clients. Responsibilities Lead the installation and commissioning of electrical security systems such as alarm & access control systems, CCTV surveillance, sensors, and fire alarm systems in accordance with schematics and electrical blueprints. Perform routine maintenance, system upgrades, and troubleshooting on complex security equipment including IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), CCTV cameras, sensors, and low-voltage wiring. Conduct field service visits to diagnose issues related to physical security systems; utilize hand tools and power tools for repairs and modifications. Interpret technical drawings and schematics to facilitate accurate system integration and door security system configurations. Provide technical troubleshooting support for equipment failures or malfunctions; identify root causes through systematic testing and analysis. Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs; assist in alarm system sales by explaining features and benefits clearly. Maintain detailed documentation of installations, repairs, schematics, wiring diagrams, and service reports; ensure compliance with safety standards. Support system design efforts by interpreting electrical blueprints and integrating low-voltage electrical wiring with existing infrastructure. Utilize remote access software for diagnostics or system monitoring; ensure secure connectivity for remote troubleshooting. Assist in training customers on system operation and basic maintenance procedures to promote long-term system reliability. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician specializing in electrical security systems or related fields; prior leadership roles preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and cabling techniques. Extensive knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems, schematics interpretation, and electrical blueprint reading. Proficiency in installing and troubleshooting alarm & access control systems, CCTV surveillance equipment, sensors, fire alarms, and related hardware. Familiarity with computer hardware components relevant to security devices and network configurations. Solid understanding of computer networking principles essential for remote access software setup and troubleshooting. Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately; experience reading schematics is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with a professional approach to client interactions. Knowledge of locksmithing principles related to door security system integration is a plus. Valid experience working with low-voltage electrical wiring standards; familiarity with power tools is necessary. Strong problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
