Job Description

Security Officer 177 Description
  • Reports to:
  • Branch Manager or Account Manager Shift
  • Thursday and Friday, 3 pm
  • 11 pm, and Saturday and Sunday, 11 pm-7 am
  • Job Summary:
  • This position falls under the direct supervision of the Account Manager or Branch Manager and is responsible for protecting, safeguarding, and securing assets, personnel, customers, and visitors at assigned sites.
  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Safeguard the interests of the client while ensuring the safety of employees and visitors.
  • Manage the entry and exit of trucks using a tablet, especially during high-volume periods.
  • Stamp necessary paperwork.
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Training Requirements:
  • This position requires 80 hours of training, scheduled on weekdays from 7 AM to 3 PM.
  • 1st
Week:
  • 40 hours of training at the minimum wage of $7.25 per hour.
  • 2nd
Week:
  • 40 hours of training at an increased pay rate of $13.50 per hour.
  • After completing the 80 hours of training, the pay rate will increase by $18.00 per hour.
  • Requirements:
  • Must have your own vehicle, as there are no public transport options available.
  • Computer skills are essential.
  • Strong writing skills are required.
  • Job Duties:
  • Protect the client's interests within the facility while ensuring the safety and security of employees and visitors.
  • Observe and report signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.
  • Prepare daily reports as trained and submit them to the appropriate contacts.
  • Complete patrols as required by post orders.
  • Monitor and control access to the property according to post orders.
  • Notify the proper authorities in all emergencies as outlined in the post orders.
  • Report all violations of company policy and local and federal laws as stated in the Employee Handbook.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
  • Stand for long hours.
  • Be willing to work extended hours.
  • Additional responsibilities may be required by the client and assigned post.
