AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a bakery production and distribution location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and contractor credentials, maintain visitor records, and control access to restricted areas in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting unusual activity, access concerns, and facility conditions to appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, parking areas, loading docks, production-area perimeters, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns. Support orderly vehicle, delivery, and pedestrian access at the location while maintaining professional communication with site personnel and guests.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience with alarm panels is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
