Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Rover Patrol officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises through continuous surveillance and physical patrols. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring access points, conducting regular patrols, and responding swiftly to incidents. Your dedication to maintaining a secure environment will help protect property, assets, and personnel while providing excellent customer service to visitors and staff. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about security, law enforcement, and emergency response. Duties Conduct routine patrols of the facility, including indoor and outdoor areas, to identify potential security breaches or hazards Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity across the premises Control access points using security systems and perform background checks on visitors and contractors Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies following established procedures Write detailed incident reports documenting any suspicious activity, security breaches, or accidents Perform first aid and CPR when necessary, providing immediate assistance in medical emergencies Manage emergency response procedures including fire safety protocols, AED operation, Taser deployment (where applicable), and conflict de-escalation techniques Experience Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military roles is highly desirable Knowledge of surveillance technology including CCTV systems and access control systems Training in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and emergency response procedures is required Ability to perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting safely and effectively Proven skills in conflict management, conflict de-escalation, and loss prevention strategies Familiarity with incident report writing and compliance with security regulations is essential Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in high-pressure situations Join us as a Rover Patrol officer and become a vital part of our commitment to safety!
