AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location. Screen individuals, personal items, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and client-directed procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as directed. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and document screening-related activity to help support security-related operations at the location. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for unauthorized activity, damaged barriers, and/or other conditions that may require follow-up.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience. CPR certification preferred. Customer service experience preferred. Access control and/or badge experience preferred. A guard card and/or license preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
