AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and report concerns. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established healthcare facility protocols. Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions, entry procedures, and access-control processes in accordance with site policies. Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
A state, county, or city-issued Security Professional license is preferred. The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
