The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property. This role requires a strong presence, excellent observation skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. The Armed Security Officer will work closely with law enforcement and utilize surveillance equipment to ensure the safety of the premises. Responsibilities Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect any suspicious activity or unauthorized access. Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV, to maintain awareness of surroundings and identify potential threats. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, following established protocols. Enforce security policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor. Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Provide assistance during conflicts or disturbances, utilizing conflict management techniques as necessary. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required, providing detailed reports on incidents and observations. Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any actions taken during shifts. Skills Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred; knowledge of emergency response procedures is essential. Experience in law enforcement or military service is highly valued; familiarity with armed security protocols is a plus. Proficient in the use of surveillance equipment and technology, including CCTV systems. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively. Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and techniques to safeguard property and assets. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail; ability to assess situations quickly and accurately. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and interaction with clients and authorities.
