Job Description
The Hokuliʻa Community Association is looking to hire a competent security greeter to undertake the surveillance of our premises and provide protection for our staff, members, and visitors During the Graveyard shift (9pm- 5am) The ideal candidate will inspire respect and authority as well as posses a high level of observation. The goal is to help the development in maintaining excellent working and living conditions by keeping our community safe and problem free. Security Staff is trained on the Hokuliʻa development rules, understands the rules, and enforces all access to Hokuliʻa. This includes, HCA Community Rules, Shoreline Park Rules, Contractor & Personnel Rules, as well as access to the The Club at Hokuliʻa and the development in general. Staff is expected to enforce the rules regarding development access at the time of entry. Monitoring and authrizing only entrance of vehicles or people in the property. Control traffic by directing drivers Monitor security cameras Respond to alarms by investingating and assessing the situation Provide assistance to people in need Prepare reports by recording observations, informing violators of policy and procedures, preventing trespassers Maintaining Log for vehicles and persons entering the project Keeping supervisor advised of all activities and problems encountered on shift Contribute to team effort by completing other requests as needed Provide excellent customer service Adhere to company standards Respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to employees and members Protect the developments assets relative to theft, assault, fire and other safety issues Follow procedures for various initiatives, including fire prevention, property patrol, traffic control & accident investigations Requirements Must be flexible to work all shifts Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Interpersonal skills Manage multiple tasks Lifting up to 25 lbs. Surveillance skills Good judgement Dependability Objectivity Ability to pass pre-employment drug and background check Driverʻs license Other Qualifications (preferred but not necessary) Guard Card - registered security officer Familiarity with report writing
