As an Access Control Security Professional at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors while supporting site procedures and providing exceptional customer service. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization, issue and collect visitor credentials, and maintain accurate entry and exit records. Control vehicle and pedestrian access to industrial and construction-related areas, following established procedures for deliveries, contractor check-in, and restricted locations. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, facilities, work areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
