Working Title Temporary Security Officer
Details The University of Iowa Campus Safety is seeking a Temporary Security Officer to patrol campus buildings. This position is performed fully on campus.
Duties to include:
- Patrol campus buildings and assigned areas with a focus on access control, public safety, and student well-bring.
- Reporting discrepancies and hazards and notifying police as needed.
- Use of portable radio communication, body cameras, and departmental vehicles
- Use of vehicle camera system and small electronics.
- Traversing outdoors in all weather conditions.
Wage:
$19.09 per hourSchedule:
Monday-Friday 3:00PM-12:30AM, Saturday & Sunday 7:00AM-12:30AM (Temporary employees limited to 29 hours per week/780 hours per fiscal year)Location:

- Effective communication skills, oral and written, to interact with people from various backgrounds and cultures.
