Job Description As a Security Officer Emergency Communications in Aurora, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch professional supporting a fast-paced retail location, where you will coordinate security-related communications, monitor activity, and help guide timely responses to incidents and service needs. AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and/or emergency response activities in a retail location. Monitor phones, radios, alarms, cameras, and other communication systems to receive calls for service and dispatch security-related personnel to incidents, suspicious activity, and/or service requests. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing timely updates to supervisors, property management, and/or emergency services as needed. Document routine activity, incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or dispatch communications in required logs and reports, helping to support accurate recordkeeping and follow-up. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter when assigned, helping to identify unusual conditions, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
