Overview Join our dynamic security team as an Unarmed Security Guard, where your vigilance and commitment to safety will help create a secure environment for our community. In this role, you will monitor premises, enforce safety protocols, and respond effectively to various situations, ensuring the well-being of all individuals on-site. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will be vital in maintaining a safe and welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities Monitor access points, checking ID badges and scanning ID badges, checking visitor lists verify identities to prevent unauthorized entry. Respond promptly to incidents or disturbances, managing conflicts with professionalism and de-escalation techniques. Perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting when necessary for equipment or supplies, adhering to safety standards. Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing suspicious activity and reporting findings in accordance with company policies. Operate security equipment including Taser devices, AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators), and CPR equipment when required for emergency response. Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services during incidents, providing accurate information and support as needed. Skills Background knowledge in law enforcement or military experience is advantageous for understanding security protocols. Certified in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and trained in conflict management to handle emergencies effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely while maintaining physical fitness. Excellent observational skills combined with the ability to perform thorough background checks and loss prevention measures.
