Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Protective Patrol in Munster, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to site needs. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking lots, access points, trailer yards, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions. Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain required logs and documentation. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete incident reports as required. Help support the orderly flow of vehicle and pedestrian traffic while reporting damaged fencing, unsecured doors, lighting concerns, and other security-related conditions.
Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
