Job Description As a Security Officer Credential Control in Olathe, KS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support daily site operations. In this role, you will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication while helping to reduce security-related incidents. PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and delivery documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to buildings, yards, trailer areas, and other restricted locations. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, including gate areas, parking lots, dock doors, and exterior grounds, while reporting unusual activity and security-related concerns. Support traffic flow and visitor management by directing guests, contractors, and vehicle operators according to post orders and established access procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
