Security Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas, identifying potential security breaches or hazards Deter, detect, and respond to security threats or incidents promptly and professionally Control access points and monitor premises to prevent unauthorized access Provide emergency response, including de-escalation, arrest control, and restraining individuals as necessary Maintain clear and concise incident reports and documentation for all security-related incidents Engage with individuals in a courteous and professional manner to enforce rules and regulations Coordinate with local law enforcement when required
Qualifications and Requirements:
Experience:
Background in Military Police, law enforcement, or certified corrections is required
Firearms:
Must have own firearm and a valid license to carry; an armed guard license is required in applicable states
Training:
Certified in arrest control, handcuff, and baton use is preferred
Physical Fitness:
Capable of performing physical duties such as patrolling, responding to incidents, and managing potentially intense confrontations
Compliance:
Understanding of and commitment to all local, state, and federal security and firearm regulations
Schedule Flexibility:
Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
Must have obtained Top Security Clearance in the past 5 years Must have obtained a Security Clearance in the past 5 years
Preferred Skills:
Strong observational skills with a keen attention to detail Excellent communication and de-escalation abilities High level of professionalism and discretion Prior training or certification in security management, conflict resolution, or emergency response
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods Capable of lifting or moving objects up to 50 lbs as needed This position plays a critical role in ensuring a safe and secure environment for our clients.
