Job Description As a Security Officer Mobile Response Driver in Wichita, KS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, aircraft-related areas, parking locations, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns. Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain visitor and contractor entry records. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as required. Prepare accurate reports and maintain daily activity logs related to patrols, incidents, access control, and security-related observations.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
