Job Description

Security Apprentice Job Summary:
Assist Security Techs with new security jobs/calls.
  • Employee must be available for a rotating on-call schedule that requires employee to immediately come to work to handle technical issues.
JOB FUNCTIONS 1
Maintain and trouble shoot alarm equipment issues. 2 Assist Security Techs with install jobs/services calls. 3 Learn all aspects of security job. 4 Explain procedures related to customer's security system. 5 Diagnose and rectify customer issues with alarm equipment. 6 Maintains workplace cleanliness and organization. 7 Remains educated and informed of industry trends in products, procedures and services. 8 Ensures that customer issues are resolved promptly and professionally. QUALIFICATIONS
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Must be PC literate with some familiarity with MS Word and Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
