Job Summary Join our team as a Gate Attendant and Community Patrol Officer, where your energetic presence and vigilant eye will ensure the safety and security of our community. In this role, you will manage the main entrance, monitoring the residents and guest arriving in the complex. Your proactive approach will foster a secure environment for residents, visitors, and staff alike. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to serve your community while developing valuable security skills. Duties Control access to main entrance by verifying identification and authorizing entry for residents, visitors, contractors, and service providers. Conduct regular patrols around the beach parking lot and the beach. Observe activity, detect suspicious behavior, and respond promptly to incidents Enforce community rules and regulations with professionalism, managing conflicts or disturbances effectively through conflict management techniques Respond swiftly to emergencies or alarms by coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed Maintain detailed logs of all patrols, incidents, visitor entries, and security activities for reporting purposes Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or vandalism and reporting findings to appropriate authorities Requirements Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally Ability to perform physical patrols for extended periods and stand or walk for long durations Familiarity with law enforcement procedures and legal standards related to security operations Embark on a role that combines active engagement with community safety initiatives!
