Job Requirements Hanscom AFB, MA Secret Polygraph Unspecified Mid Level Career (5+ yrs experience) $70,000 - $80,000 Job Description Job Title Senior Security Specialist Functional Title Security Manager Contract position State Location Hanscom Air Force - MA US (Primary) Education Bachelor's Level Degree Job Type Full-time Job Description Quantech has an immediate opening for a Security Manager supporting the C3I&N Directorate located at Hanscom AFB, MA. Specific duties include but are not limited to the following: The candidate must be able to perform analytical, planning, advisory, operational, or evaluative work that has as its principal purpose the development and implementation of policies, procedures, standards, training, and methods for identifying and protecting information, personnel, property, facilities, operations, or material from unauthorized disclosure, misuse, theft, assault, vandalism, espionage, sabotage, or loss. The candidate must recommend and implement policies and procedures for analyzing and evaluating the character, background, and history of employees, candidates for employment, and other personas having or proposed to be granted access to classified or other sensitive information, materials, or work sites. The candidates shall provide security support to their assigned controlled facilities to include but not limited to: Exercising delegated access control to secure areas Assisting in opening and closing controlled areas Assisting in arming and disarming facility alarm systems as required Assisting in accomplishing end of day security checks In support of those programs with stringent security requirements, personnel shall be knowledgeable of DD security procedures, to include classified transmission, protection of incoming mail, courier requirements, security incident reporting, and security violation sanctions
